If your hair has ANY CONNECTION to African roots, please do NOT get your hair done here. They were very friendly, and will REALLY try and convince you that they are very knowledgeable with women of color's hair, and I assure you this is not the case. After insisting then negotiating on charging me more "because my hair is a lot of work", all of the techniques were AWFUL! I will start with the way she continuously yanked the comb through my wet hair was so hard to watch I closed my eyes, then just EXPLAINED that you must start from the ends first with wet curly hair. Normally I am the first to speak up, but here I am trying to be quiet and hope it comes out ok. Bad idea. She didn't blow dry my roots! I told her before she started flat ironing that the top of my head's roots were still very damp, and she said yes it is because of the AC blowing on my head. She didn't straighten my root either. Took my 3 year old son today with my grandma and they cut he’s hair VERY good!! The lady that cut he’s hair on the 4th chair was really friendly and had patiences!! Well all the staff was really friendly. I’m going to bring my son here from now on!
