Sonia Dominican Hair Salon

I’ve gotten blowouts from this salon for over five years and although I’ve always loved the results, I feel I should share why I will not be returning. I arrived for my pre scheduled appointment at 1pm and didn’t leave until 6:30pm. Although I’ve experienced long delays here before, this has to be the longest. This salon is often overbooked despite having few stylists. In addition to the exceptionally long wait time, the woman who washed my hair (not Sonia) also blow dried my hair after my roller set. The stylist spent way too long on each small section of my hair and almost always forgot to spray heat protectant on new sections. I watched as Sonia blow dried and flat ironed two separate patrons as I was still getting my hair blown out. I was nearly in tears as I almost certainly got heat damage. I ended up leaving the salon with one of the stiffest blowouts that I’ve received from there. I don’t feel the health of my hair or time was prioritized. You should leave a salon feeling confi

Sometimes there is a long wait since Sonia is running the shop by herself now, but she’s well worth the wait. I’ve come here for five years now and really sad that I’m leaving the state. Thanks for the years of incredible blow-outs Sonia. I wish you all the best!

This is one of the best salons I’ve been to! I’m not from around here so I wanted to find a good place to get my hair colored and straight. I think I finally have the only thing is that it does take a while but that was expected since I didn’t have an appointment. All In all I’m very happy with the outcome of my hair and the price I paid highly recommended coming here the ladies are so sweet and really care about the health of your hair.
