I’ve been coming to get my hair cut, full baby lights and whatever other magic she does at Rennaissance for over a year now. My natural hair is a very dark and thick brunette requiring time, patience and I imagine a lot of experience to work on. After trial and error elsewhere, thankfully I found Rennaissance. The care and detail put into my hair during appointments make all the difference with how I feel leaving the salon and how wonderful my hair looks weeks after. As a half asian gone blonde, I get several compliments on my hair. Their products recommended to me have even kept my hair hydrated and feeling healthier and thicker. I planned to use a groupon for a cut and style for $15.38. I called before I purchased the groupon just to make sure they have appointments available soon and if children were allowed in the salon since I'm a stay at home mom so my one year old goes everywhere with me. They told me I didn't have to bother getting the groupon that they would just price match , score. The staff was VERY friendly and welcoming and Katrina did a great job on my hair cut. My only complaint would be that my "style" was just her blow drying my hair after the wash and cut. She didn't use any kind of products or follow up with a straightener or anything. Granted I did not specifically ask for that but any other time I've gotten a cut and style somewhere they usually did that with out me having to specifically ask. So my hair was a little fluffy when I left the salon, not end of the world but not my idea of " styling " it. Emily was very good at her job and very friendly! She made us feel welcome even using our Groupon! She went the extra mile and curled my daughter's hair really cute. The shop was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable...
