LOVE Christa at Meriel. I'd never been very particular when it came to my hair and would only cut it once or twice a year -- but since going to Christa regularly, my hair feels healthier than ever, and I can confidently say my most recent cut with her is the BEST cut I've ever had. It lays beautifully with the layers and shape that she created, and I barely have to style it in order for it to look voluminous and bouncy, despite being very long and typically heavy. This is largely because Christa has taken the time to really get to know my hair and texture and talking through inspiration pics/videos I've shown her -- and that effort shows!! I swore I’d always go back to NY to see my stylist, but then I found Christa! Curly hair can be tricky (I’ve learned from experience) but Christa is incredible. I get more compliments on my cut (and curly bangs) than I ever have before. Happy that I don’t have to fly back north every time I need to get cleaned up! ???? She also happens to be super fun and friendly, so it’s always a joy to go see her. Highly recommend!!

Meriel’s Salon is amazing-I literally fly from Boston, MA to Richmond just to get my hair done here! Both Meriel and David have done my hair this past year, and both are incredible and so talented. I’ve been getting my hair done by Meriel for over 10 years and was so thrilled when she got her own salon. Everything about it is wonderful—the stylists, the ambiance, and the decor.
