This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded at this establishment since the pandemic hit every experience I had prior was exceptional which is why I got a membership with them. Today however I walked in with eyebrows as thick as plump caterpillars and walked out with misshapen, uneven, thin eyebrows with spruce hairs here and there. Should have known I made a bad call when the woman that did them was the only one in the establishment and happened to have rather thin eyebrows herself. The threading itself felt rush and more time, effort and energy went into trying to get me to invest in other services and products then rendering a satisfactory threading.

I'm starting to think this area doesn't like to service African Americans as this salon is right across the street from the Anthony Vince nail spa on Merchant that I left a review for a while back. On 14 Aug 2022 at 1201, I came in to get my eyebrows done. When I walked up to the counter, I asked for an eyebrow threading and was told to come back tomorrow. I looked around to see if I was missing something because no one was in there. Not one customer. Confused, I asked the lady why and she still repeated that I needed to come back tomorrow. I asked her was she busy or booked and she still gave me no answer. Instead, she reluctantly got up as if she was going to provide the service I requested. I told her nevermind because at that point, I'm was not willing to trust someone who wasn't willing to provide a requested service. I will not be coming back to anything on merchant as I'm starting to see a sickening trend.
