M. Scott Salon

Recently learned about M.Scott and booked a wash, cut and dry with Steve. I'm very happy with my haircut and respect how diligent the salon is, requesting details about their clients hair before booking. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, and there was just a straight up pleasant and fun vibe. I'd recommend the salon, and particularly Steve, who cut my hair! I have thick, wavy hair and not all haircutters have the patience to fully dry it, but Steve took the time needed. I went out with friends the night I got my hair cut and the subsequent night - I've never received more compliments on how good my hair looked! Service: Hairstyling

I really wanted to give this place a five star review because everybody is so friendly and professional. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Steve is causing me to leave this review. If you have blonde hair or looking to go blonder please avoid the stylist. I came in asking to go much more blonde (I am a darker blonde naturally) And he did a balayage technique with no foils that left the top quite gold and the bottom more of my dark blonde Ashley color. It looks quite Patchy, and frankly it wasn’t a significant difference from my normal color. They were super professional and offered to fix it, but I would have to see the same stylist if I wanted to avoid being charged for the service to fix it. This time I came to armed with pictures and thought it would be easier to communicate that way. Unfortunately what I was given was significantly different from the pictures. SERVICE: Stellar. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and sincere and I had such a wonderful time there. Scott offered me a coffee and made it for me during both of my visits, and I was also provided with water (served in a chilled highball glass! The details!). Additionally, they worked with me to get the best price for what I was looking for and make sure it still looked good when my paycheck was late the day of my appointment. They really go above and beyond and it seems second nature to the staff. PRODUCT: Also very high quality. They managed to lighten my hair 5 levels in one session without causing it excessive damage. It was still smooth and silky when they were done. The color I got is very vibrant and was applied really well. I also appreciate how excited the staff were about the color! VIBES: Excellent.
