I took a leap of faith and decided to spend a little more to go to a high quality salon in Southlake, only to have my haircut turn out worse than it would’ve if I had just cut it myself at home for free. I showed multiple pictures and was very clear with what I wanted (lots of layers, curtain bangs, and face framing pieces). I left with only one of the three things I asked for - some extremely uneven bangs. My hair had no layers added and no face framing pieces (which we talked in detail about, where I wanted them to begin & end etc). What I am assuming happened is that my stylist messed up on the bangs and then decided not to cut anything else or address the mistake after it was made. She just did her best to blow dry and style them so they would be acceptable (which they were not). I left feeing embarrassed and self-conscious literally wanting to HIDE as soon as I walked out the front door. The bangs are undeniably crooked.
