HOTBOX Salon

Called in for a consultation with Marissa and was told I was confirmed for a 4:30 appointment. Came in a few minutes before 4:30 and was greeted by the lead stylist and told that Marissa had just started an appointment with another client and would be ready for me in about 20 minutes. I waited for close to 45 minutes with no one checking on me and Marissa not even coming out to say hello and let me she’d be ready soon. I asked the lead stylist, because there was no one else in the salon to be found, when I would be seen and told him the amount of time I’d been waiting for. He told me my appointment was for 4 and the soonest Marissa could see me was not for another 10 minutes at least. I, of course, left after informing the stylist that my appointment was confirmed for 4:30, not 4, and that continuing to wait would put me at almost an hour. They were inconsiderate of my time by making me wait so long, as well as the stylist I was meeting not taking a moment of their time to greet me. An

Amazing experience. The vibe is relaxed and fun, and Carlo was wonderfully attentive with excellent attention to detail. He did my cut and color exactly as I asked. Plus, the complimentary hand massage was a real treat. Hotbox is my go-to spot from now on!

I’ve always wanted short hair but was terrified to have it cut. Someone on IG with a huge following recommended this salon to me and her hair looks amazing so I decided to give it a try. When I called to schedule my appointment I was given a brief description of what my experience would be like, which I really appreciated. As I shared that I was extremely nervous about having my hair cut she assured me that my stylist would give me a thorough consultation first and would not give me anything I wouldn’t love. At my appointment I had a great consultation with Baldo where he explained to me everything about how short hair would work for me. Everything from the structure of my face, texture of my hair and even all the ways I could style it. I COMPLETELY trusted him with my hair and went from long hair to a PIXIE CUT! I LOVE my new hair style! I couldn’t be happier I had such a great experience. Amazing service, amazing work, amazing people! :)
