I had my first curly cut with Amanda this past Saturday, and I can say, hands down, this is the most amazing haircut I’ve ever had in my entire life. I lost chunks of hair as a side effect of a surgery I had over a year ago, so my formerly voluminous curly hair was flat and didn’t have any shape to it. I had it cut by my regular hairstylist in my hometown back in December, but my hair still remained flat and my curls didn’t really bounce back like they used to. Amanda is an ARTIST and CURL DOCTOR because she cut my hair and gave it so much shape and volume and gave me the prescription to treat my hair with the proper type of products and in which order to use them in. I am currently using my old products, at least until they run out, and even using the techniques she taught me, my curls look better than they have since my surgery. Love this salon! I’m new to the curly hair journey and needed some guidance. Emily was so sweet and knowledgeable. I love that the salon still requires masks and takes cleaning their space seriously (UV phone sanitizer, what?!) Emily was honest with how long it will probably take my stressed upper layers to get their curl and helped me with some curl training tips. Two days post cut and my upper layers are holding more wave than they have in the past and I have a few gorgeous ringlets on the underside. This salon has good knowledge and good hearts, the best!

Amanda does an amazing job on curly hair. Not only is her technique great but she listens to what your hair goals are and she shows you how to correctly style for curly hair.
