i came here to get my haircut bc my hair was just not it after getting a cut from somewhere else. jayla turned my ugly cut into a cut i normally would have. she knew exactly how i wanted and had a positive attitude. i was so happy with the result. she is friendly and pretty! i love her smile. the salon has some really good playlist my ears were happy. they have fiji water! i liked the vibe here, spacious and clean. chill and laid-back. the chairs are comfy but the hair shampooing chair was really comfy, especially that neck part wasnt stiff. after several days later i went back to jayla to color my hair. she is definitely good at what she is doing and experienced. the whole time she made me feel comfortable and was so sweet. i know who to go to next time i need my hair done. free street parking. this area is getting redone, with new restaurants and other businesses so it's an up and coming area for sure with potential. for hair color, there is a $50 nonrefundable deposit. also you have

Great customer service however; I did not get what I asked or paid $500 for. I came in for a retouch on my roots., balayage retouch. I had my consultation a week prior and showed pics ensuring my desired look was achievable. Indeed it was. Upon my appointment Once I was rinsed out I noticed my hair looked the exact same, I was told to wait until it dried. I gave the benefit of the doubt, needless to say my hair never lightened at all! Doesn’t look like a balayage or even close To it. I called & spoke to the manager. I was told it couldn’t be fixed today and I needed another consultation then another appointment. Wow! & no guarantee the service would be complementary. Even though I already paid for a service that was not achieved AT ALL. Needless to say For $500 my desired look should’ve been executed the first time, I thought I was paying for an expert. I will not be back

I want to first start off by thanking the receptionist (I wish I remembered her name ????) for absolutely everything!!! She was so kind & definitely helped me relax due to having SO MUCH anxiety getting my hair done here for the first time for my wedding!!! Ozell was my hair stylist & let me just say SHE WAS WONDERFUL!!!!! Literally the best experience I’ve had in Houston so far at a salon! I was so relaxed & she was very informative but yet not a over talker, which I appreciated. I was able to truly relax & not worry about how my hair would turn out. My treatment was just absolutely wonderful & I will be back!!! She even told me some tips on how to keep my hair up through our long flight to our destination wedding!! Thank you Salon Rose!!!
