GrandLux Nail Salon (by Market Street)

Omg JENNY is the woman to see for all of your pedicure needs! Not only does she take her time painting your toes to perfection, she also gives a thorough Grandluxe massage. I was falling asleep and she spend at least 10 minutes on each leg. I’m a server and am on my feet for 8-12 hours, and this is just what I needed!! Love love love Jenny!!

I came to the salon to get eyebrow and lips waxed couple times now. I wanted to come back to get them done since they did a great job most of the time. However, this time around, I ended up having bald spot on one of my brows and “comma” looking shaped brows where they were thick in the front to middle sections and thin at the end. Worst of all, I end up getting a staph infections on my lips. It was the worst experience ever. I came in on Saturday around noon time and called the salon right after. I was promised that the manager would give me a call later in the day but heard nothing. Hannah was the person who worked on me. At the salon, I was already displeased and confronted her but instead of apologizing and attempting to correct it, she said that I don’t have hair in the bald spot area and suggested that I use makeup to cover it. During the cleaning up the wax process, she applied enormous amount of pressure to get the wax out around my lips area to the point where my skin ripped.

This was my final quality test at the place and it’s only gotten worse over my last three visits I brought my son with me and both of our nails are just horrid. His simple polish is sloppy and looks as though he did it himself. My get set is lumpy, the tips are sloppy, and the tech actually forgot to seal them the first time and had to redo them I called to ask if they can get me in to simply remove this trash from my nails and the receptionist was extremely pushy insisting they have someone who can do them.
