Mayra's Beauty Salon

I came here on a Sunday . When I came in I asked for just a trim . Thaths all that I wanted , no form just straight trim how I usually get . I also tend to do it on a full moon , so I tried to give this place a shot . Then the lady with glasses on the 2nd char from left , came up to me and looked at my hair . I told her how much was it for a trim , she didn’t tell me anything and told me to sit , I asked again and she went to one of the ladies to assure a price . I proceeded to tell them that I just wanted a trim nothing extra and complicated. The owner told me it they would charge me 45 , when it tended to be 65 for my type of hair since it was long and thick . Because they had to do a wash , dry and straighten. Since she told me they would do it for 45 I was ok with it I proceeded to get my hair washed , the lady with glasses didn’t even wash my hair right , she just put like water and rinsed it out . I came here due to recommendations given by my mom and her friends and I have to say that Mayra and her team did not disappoint! Such friendly staff and environment, I have never been to a hair salon were coffee or bread was offered. I showed up very late to our appointment due to poor weather, but they still were willing to work with me. Furthermore, I was very happy with the end-result of my hair. I was looking for change and she was able to help by doing partial highlights. Not once did I feel rushed. I will say it is pricey, but I thought it was worth it for a beautiful end result!
