Omg such a great “me day” well spent with Angel !!! This salon is AMAZING. The salon is a completely renovated home in the very beginning of a neighborhood that offers more services than your average joe salon. The environment is so inviting and just comforting! Makes you want to just spend a whole day at your ”home away from home” but this home is all about self care with services from hair color to eye lashes, spray tanning, etc… oh and SHOPPING. Ahh such a good day!! My hair looks phenomenal as always! Angel has been doing my hair since I was 13 years old.. 10 years. I decided to get my hair done here since my friend recommended it! The ladies were very sweet and it was a very relaxing experience! Ended up watching Netflix the whole time on the TV that was hung up haha, and I even got some popcorn to go along with it! The hair dye job I got done looked amazing! Very happy! definitely would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get their hair done. The staff is amazing and friendly, owner truly has a passion for her business, but I wouldn’t recommend this for beginner stylist. This place has only been open for less then 2 years resulting on not having an established apprenticeship program. I left my job that payed me $16 an hour to get my foot in the beauty world. When I was told I was going to get paid $9 an hour it did bother me since my years of retail experience and background working in a lot of department and knowledge i have I felt over qualified but I was told I was going to learn and apprentices but truly wasn’t giving full transparency. That’s fault on my own. I was told if I wanted to learn I had to be off the clock and to bring models I had to buy my own chemical products and be off the clock as well. Products are expenses.
