Bella Salon

I’ve been getting my nails done at Bella Nails for years. They are not the kindest individuals, but I go there because their wait time is minimal. Today, I had a horrific encounter with female owner. She approached my 9 year old daughter with a colleague of hers and they were speaking in their native language. She then asked me, “how old is your daughter?” I said, she is 9. The woman says, “she is so big and heavy, my daughter is skinny like me.”The woman laughs, as she tells me this. I see my daughter look down with embarrassment , while I try to remain calm. I tried to explain to the lady how inappropriate it was to body shame a young child. She responded with, “ that’s your problem if you are offended.” As she reads this review, I would like to say, KINDNESS is what one should spread!!! NOT ignorant comments to young girls! My daughter says, “Mom there are so many nail salons…””we don’t have to go there!” And, she’s right!❤️

I'm usually very happy with this salon. The ladies do nice work efficiently and pleasantly. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure last night did a very good job. However, I wasn't please what happened initially. When I walked in, I was directed to a station and put my stuff down. The manicurist (who worked on me twice before) asked me to pick out a nail polish, the stand of which was by the door. While I was perusing the color, an elderly Asian woman came in and was greeted. She said she needed a manicure and was directed to a station- my station. The manicurists moved my belonging to another station because this elderly Asian woman apparently took priority. I found it hugely rude and inappropriate.

They were so kind and my nails came out AMAZING
