Gloss Nail Bar

I will be putting my review on each location because i have been to each location 3-4 times trying to get a better experience each time. Everytime i have gone and gotten a pedicure with gel polish the gel comes off within a week when gel usually last a month or longer for me.. And if the pedicure is not done correctly, i am told “i need to take better care of my feet” I have no issue at other salons so i genuinely do not know the problem with Gloss.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and have enjoyed my experiences however this last visit sealed the deal for me and I will NEVER go back. I got a manicure from the most unprofessional nail tech who started the manicure out by being on her phone. I’ve received hundreds of dip manicures and this was by far the worst one, ever. At the end of the manicure she dipped my nails in a white powder that was in a non branded condiment container and when I asked what it was because it turned my nails white after getting orange dip she said “my mom gave it to me.” I told her she needed to fix my nails because it ruined the color and she proceeded to have to drill off the color and then she cut my in the process (biggest pet peeve, bleeding during a manicure). She “fixed” the nails and then left her thumb print in my nail and my fingers covered in dip. The quality here has severely gone downhill. This is my favorite nail salon. I’ve tried quite a few in Memphis and none of them compare to Gloss. They know me by name, remember our conversations and perhaps more important, they do an amazing job. Their attention to detail is unparalleled.
