This was one of the best salon services I've ever had. Nicole was so patient and thorough throughout the entire process. She's a wonderful teacher and coach who ensures you learn exactly how to take care of and maintain your hair at home. I've been natural for 9 years and this was the first time I didn't have to "refresh" my hair. I've already referred my sister and will definitely return myself. A true Memphis gem! I was referred to Genetically Curated by a great group of Naturally Curly Sorors from my hometown. Prior to this appointment, I was ready to give up on my coils and just loc my hair. I had tried every product known to man without success, and I just could not get the desired outcomes. Today I had my first consultation, cut and style and was almost brought to tears by the results. My consultation was full of patience, professionalism and reassurance that I could reproduce the lessons I learned once I returned home. I was allowed to watch the process, feel my hair and ask questions throughout. I was also given restaurant recommendations and encouraged to notify Nicole once I made it home 2 hours away. I will definitely be returning regularly for services.
