I’ve lived in several states, tried at least 9 different salons and been committed to blonde hair (as a natural brunette) for over 12 years now ... and HOA is by far my favorite hair salon. Emily Corbin is a goddess, and makes sure my hair is perfect every time I walk out those doors. The overall atmosphere is hip, upbeat, and welcoming. I honestly couldn’t imagine finding another salon and stylist that I would like more.

Emily is amazing!! I was more than impressed with her work. She was flawless in her technique, very detailed, & took the extra time to make sure my hair looked perfect. We stayed well after close & she didn’t try to rush anything. The atmosphere is great & calming as well. The salon is beautiful. My before & after pictures speak for themselves. I had a MAJOR confidence boost for sure. I had ideas about what I wanted, but trusted Emily’s knowledge so she did a couple things differently & the results were better than I could have ever imagined! I have gone back and forth with deciding if I should say something from my experience but I decided I should. Sometime last year I was looking for a new job because I was just graduated out of hair school.I came across this salon because it seemed very cute and nice. I reached out to the salon because I saw they were hiring a front desk attendant. I spoke with the owner Natalie on the phone, we discussed many things and one of them was my pay rate. I requested 15$ an hour and she agreed. We set a date for my first day. I had my first day, i was filling out my paperwork, where she told me I would be making 14$ an hour. I did the training and then was told to come back next week because the holidays were approaching and it would be hard to train me over a busy holiday. The day before I was supposed to come back I received a TEXT from the owner telling me not to return and that I should “talk less and listen more” among other things, she also said she would send a paycheck in the mail fo
