Zen Nail Spa

Zen nails is always my go to! I usually request Lianne. However, Tuesday is her off day and my nails needed some serious T.L.C. I am very particular about who I get to do my nails as I have had my nail bed cut into with the nail file before! Lee did my nails this time and did an amazing job! I booked an appointment for my friend and I a few weeks ago. To preface, I don't use the dip powders as I experience pain every time I am put under the uv lights. I told my manicurist and she still tried to talk me into dip and asked if I was afraid. I said "I'm not willing to experience pain. I need regular polish." It did not look good (polish was streaky and uneven) and before I even left I had three spots messed up just on one hand. All they do for normal polish was two coats of the color, a top coat, and then under the air dryer. Nothing to speed the drying. They painted them but it was clear she wasn't comfortable with anything outside dip powders nor did she seem interested when I asked about scheduling a fill. The acrylic nails stayed for two weeks but lifted at the bottom and sides. Very short wait time. Both my husband and I went for pedicures. (My husband’s first). He’s a distance runner so his feet take a beating. We had a great experience! Zen is a great place. Clean, professional and the staff is courteous and welcoming. Highly recommended! Services: Foot massages, Pedicure, Callus removal
