I recently had hair extensions done here. Although they came out beautifully, I was not happy with the response I received when I reached out trying to explain something was wrong. I emailed my stylist explaining that the extensions were itching, burning and felt as if I were wearing a torn crown and that I needed them to be removed. She questioned my ability of washing my hair properly and told me that it would be over two weeks before she could remove them for me. I explained that I couldn't wait that long, and that I'd try to have a friend remove them instead. Thankfully my sister was able to remove them. As my sister was removing them my head was FULL of blisters and my hair is falling out in chunks from the roots, and is still falling out in chunks. I reached out to friends who have been in the industry for over 20 years for help because the owner of the salon still hasn't even reached out to me as I've emailed her for help. Called to schedule an appointment as a new client and was answered by the most unprofessional receptionist. We were looking for a specific time and instead of putting us on hold to check, she puts the phone down and is yelling at the stylist. Then says 3:30, not, "we only have a 3: 30 available unfortunately". And when we don't answer because we didn't realize she was talking to us. She yells HELLO! When we say that won't work she says fine whatever...and hangs up... very unprofessional

I moved here in 2017 and it took me about year to find Josh at Madison Salon and I haven't gone to anyone else since! He does amazing work, is such a fun person to be around and is reasonably priced! The salon itself is adorable and always has great music and vibes. Everyone is friendly and it's just a delight to go in. Definitely recommend!
