Nail Works

I am so upset. I came in with nails I loved that I just needed a fill in for. I left paying $65 with horrible nails. I was already shocked it was $45 for a fill in but can’t believe they charged me $20 more. I have to go to a different salon tomorrow and get brand new nails so I’m out a lot of money and in pain. The man from the start was ignoring what I was saying and just did whatever he wanted while he looked at the clock every 2 minutes. He was sloppy and kept hurting my fingers. I kept saying not to change the length or shape or color and he changed EVERYTHING! Not to mention that every single nail is now a different shape and length and he painted them and there are weird grooves, bubbles, and HAIRS! Disgusting he would even let me leave like this with weird hairs in my nails. Very unsanitary and he was reusing dirty tools on me. I should not have been charged for this hack job.

This place was recommended to my friend so we went to get some vacation nails. The atmosphere was chaotic and busy, your typical fast paced in and out quick nail salon. The lady who did my friends nails did what she wanted and couldn’t be bothered with her inspo pic. They weren’t the right shape or design at all. The guy who did my nails argued with me about the type of nails I previously had on and he still did not believe me even when I assured him it was dip. I give him an A for the design, but that’s it. He rushed me into picking out the colors I wanted and did not help me at all. The nails themselves were very thin and two of them broke within 4 days of being done. The application was sloppy and the filing job was trash. To top it off I was charged $100 for these nails, I will not be going back.

I normally do not leave reviews for businesses however I feel like this needed to be said. I went into this nail salon to get my nails done for my wedding and explained with a photo of what I wanted. It was an easy classic design, nothing difficult. The gentleman was rushing to do my nails from the moment I sat down. The nails were not done anything like the photo I had shown him but to be nice I didn’t say anything even though these nails are for my wedding day! I went to go pay and he said “$95 dollars today”. I had to ask the girl at the front what for? My nails were acrylic! They charged me $65 for a full set of acrylic then $20 for gel polish and then another $10 for the horrible design! I’ve never paid more than $45/$55 for the same product at this salon and others. They definitely took advantage of me and decided to change their price without telling me before hand.
