Salon Surreal

After looking for several weeks for a place in the Spartanburg area that could highlight my very thick, curly hair, I just randomly picked Salon Surreal and Amber highlighted my hair. She did a great job and the facility was very nice. I will definitely go back and I recommend this place to anyone.

It has taken me quite some time to get around to this review. At the time, to avoid conflict i did not say anything but the more time passes the more i feel i should speak up. I went in for a consultation for a pretty extensive dye job, she told me it would be no more than $300, which was about accurate for what i was getting done. During my appointment she dropped towls and continued to use them, my head was sore to the touch by the end which has NEVER happened with anyone else before, or since then. She asked how i would like it styled and when i said straightened she insisted it be currled for her photo, dispite what i requested/paid for, and during my appointment she commented on something i was texting my friend about...implying she read my personal info in my phone while working on my hair. She was messy and not very considerate in my opinion. And most of all, she charged me $200 more than what she had promissed the price to be dispite what she had told me before. All in all, i w

My wife has been growing her hair out for over 4 months so she could get a different style from what she’s had for years. She showed me the picture of the style she wanted. When she returned from the salon not only was the style not even near what she wanted, the length was completely gone! She back to the style she was wanting to get away from! This is twice that place (2 different stylists) has completely gotten the style wrong. I wouldn’t take my bald brother there. This is absolutely ridiculous.
