I have been going to Brandon for nearly year now and he is wonderful. When I first went to Brandon for a consultation, my hair was thinning at an alarming rate. Brandon worked with me to stop bleaching my hair and to start just coloring it. He is always so gentle with my hair and is meticulous in both the coloring and the styling. Just this week, we went for a new look and I can't be happier. My hair is now much healthier and getting back to the body it use to have. I would highly recommend Brandon to anyone. I've been cutting my own hair for the past 6 years, partly out of frugality, but mostly because I felt a high level of unease going into such traditionally gendered spaces and walking out half-happy at best. I moved to RI recently and broke my ankle soon after, cutting my DIY cuts out of the picture. I found Flipp in a thread of community recommendations, which stood out for it's cuts by time/hair type rather than "men's" and "women's". I went in for a cut with Forrest recently and so glad I did! I can't recommend them enough: they were so patient, kind, communicative, and welcoming. I'm so happy with the cut and the ease of the experience. I never felt alienated as I have in the past at salons or barbershops, and wholly recommend them to anyone whose dysphoria is holding them back (bonus points: the shop is clean, well curated, and downright cute) Service: Haircut

This salon is chill and welcoming. Brandon cut my hair and he is amazing! I took off a lot of my hair (at least 6”) and left really happy with the results. He paid attention to detail and explained techniques and why he was using certain products to work with my wavy hair. Great experience! Service: Haircut
