Lakshmi Hair Studio

I'm feeling really sad and disappointed writing this. I don't normally write reviews but this really stood out as a bad experience. I spoke with the woman Beth at the front desk and talked about my options if I wanted to dye my hair red. She told me that to go directly from dark brown to red would take several hours and several hundred dollars. I thanked her for the heads up and I told her that was too expensive for me and asked what if we just went from dark brown to medium brown instead, she said that would be a single process and she booked an hour and a half slot. The day of my appointment I drove for an hour and a half to get there only to have the stylist Vinny (who was very polite and apologetic) tell me that he couldn't lighten my hair from dark brown to medium brown in an hour and a half. I asked why no one told me that on the phone before I drove all the way here and he called over the owner and the woman at the front desk who I spoke to, who both denied advising me to make a

This hair studio is amazing! I've been looking for a new salon and stylist and I'm so glad I found this one. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Vinny did my cut and color for the first time and I'm so happy with my results! He's so patient, kind, and talented! Highly recommend!

Jamie Madelyn was my hair colorist at today’s appointment and she was so personable! I love the balayage hair color she gave me and highly recommend her! Can’t wait to be a part of this new hair studio now that I moved to Philly!
