My adopted daughter has beautiful curls and I came to Samantha looking for help. Not having curls myself, I wanted to learn how to take care of my daughter's hair well and learn styling techniques and tricks. I am so grateful I found her. Sam is the curl queen! I always leave feeling like my hair looks better than it ever has! This was my first time experiencing CRWN'D. I was skeptical because we had a very bad experience elsewhere with someone who claimed to know how to do curly hair. This was my last attempt and man I'm so happy I took a leap of faith. Samantha is an absolute gem. Very knowledgeable and very passionate about her work. I took my daughter (8) to her for a curly cut. She was able to fix the damage from a bad hair cut years before . Her wash and go lasted TWO WEEKS with refreshing twice in between! Sam was patient, engaging and very sensory and neurodivergent aware/friendly. She respects autonomy which I absolutely loved. It was like chatting with a friend. And I especially loved that she read labels on products with me and listened. She listened!!
