can't say enough great things about Mara @ Stylab. She's incredibly intelligent and talented at what she does! I went in with an issue from a previous haircut and she fixed me up like magic. She asked lots of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I went back to her for color when I wanted to do something fun and crazy- she got my hair to a cool denim blue! However, after one week I missed my blonde so much I asked her if it was possible to change it back without killing all my hair. Mara said no problem at all, explained the process, was excited to do the job and was able to get my blonde back and better than before with little to no damage. Not to mention it took FOREVER because of all my hair and she even stayed much past closing time to finish. She didn't rush though it to leave on time and took her time to treat my hair with all the proper conditioner and love it needed to remain healthy. Michael gave me a precise haircut and spent hours on long thick hair to get me the exact shade of midnight blue "India Ink." We had a couple trouble spots where the hair didn't take the color very well and Michael got my right in and made it PERFECT at no charge. Thanks Michael for your skills and artistry. I give him 5 stars for his perfectionism and insistence on customer satisfaction. I am now a dedicated client.

I read other reviews on here before I booked my appointment. I was also skeptical of the Groupon, because you never know what you're going to get. Sam did my haircut. He was professional, thoughtful, funny. He did a great job and made sure I left the salon feeling good about my hair and my experience. This salon also does a lot of non-profit work which means a lot to me. I highly recommend Sam at Stylab Salon.
