Tanya's Beauty School

If you're looking to attend Tanya's Beauty School, I STRONGLY recommend going somewhere else. She pays for followers on social media and I can almost guarantee many of these "5 star" reviews are paid for as well. This school is tempting because it's presented as a "shorter program" that is cheaper than some others in the area but ultimately the education is inadequate, unprofessional and you'll end up spending almost twice as much by the time you actually get started in the industry. I was able to look past the language barrier but my class pretty much taught ourselves and learned more from one another than we did from the instructors. Everything that was used on clients was paid for out of our own pockets, more often than not we were left waiting outside for them to show up to open the school for the day (causing us to be late for clients and affecting our hours), NONE of my classmates have received our certificates of completion MONTHSSSS after finishing, ETC. Khai did my eyebrows and I am very happy with his work. He is very careful and precise. His attention to detail and customer satisfaction is amazing. He really listens and goes above and beyond. Tanya’s salon was clean and cozy. The staff and the students there are very professional and respectful. I highly recommend the school and I’m very happy with the eyebrows and the nails I did at the school.5 stars

The teachers were nice, but we mainly just sat in class and did our online work . No one would come into the room and teach anything, we saw the teachers always sitting on the couch and eating at the front desk . Our kits didn’t come with everything we paid for and we got our chemical peels the last week of school before we graduated so we paid for that and never got to use it nor were we even taught how to use chemical peels . Colored lashes were also part of the kit me including other students paid for but we never received . The school is tempting to enroll into because it’s on the cheaper side, but you’re not learning and you’re just sitting there for the most part .
