I’ve been going to Head Quarters for years now and love it. I followed Alexa there from her previous salon because she is FANTASTIC, and the best colorist I’ve ever found. I get compliments on my red hair all the time, and it’s because of Alexa! I was happy with her right off the bat— she’s super friendly and professional, has a great sense of humor, and makes you feel comfortable right away. I always leave her chair feeling great. I’ve had very positive experiences with the front desk staff too, and it’s a clean, organized salon. Go to Head Quarters and go see ALEXA!! I don’t know why this review is showing up as new. I posted this almost 1-2 years back. What is funny is I had given a 1-star review for how upset I was, and no one called me from Aveda. I recently changed it to 4 stars and got a call from Aveda about the review after so long.. Probably since it shows up as new. Below is the review I have always loved Aveda, but I am forced to reduce my 5-star rating to 4. I have been going here for 7 years but I found quite a few problems this visit. Did NOT Deliver I was charged $400 for cut ( to shoulder length), color and roots. While the balyage looked better than plain black hair ( I wanted a lighter shade which I have gotten before- I was told my hair color just can’t get those shades). For $400 it should have been delivered- this wasn’t my first balayage where I expected a lighter shade. I came home and found my hair line still was not fully colored leaving quite a few greys.
