A complete waste of time and money. I had gotten my hair highlighted and the highlights came out grey. They also charged me for toner which cost extra and was not stated. Afterwards I set up an a redo/retouch appoint for a few days after. I called in a little over an hour before my appointment to make sure that the new redo appointment was free and that I was able to just pay a tip. Allie answered the phone and assured me that it was free and I could pay a tip for the service. So I go to the appointment and get my hair redone. Both of the stylists I had were very sweet but both times my highlights came out ashy and grey/white toned, even though my goal was warmer and “sun-kissed.” I go to pay my tip and Allie states that the cost is an additional $140. I had previously paid $130 to get botched highlights. Allie then lied to me, the manager, and the owner stating that I had never called to check if the appointment was free. Very unprofessional. I'm writing this at great personal risk because if you start going to Maggi or Christine, there will be fewer available appointments for me. But I have gone to both (Maggi for blonde highlights, Christine for a cut) for over 10 years, and both deserve more clients than they can handle. They listen to what I want and don't want, they do their job well, and they're super friendly. One even sings to me. ;) Bottom line: Anytime I have considered moving to Hawaii, I've added losing them to my list of cons. If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what else to say.
