I had the worst experience with this place. From the moment I walked into the salon. First the extensions I wanted and needed him to order were suppose to be honey blonde. I get there and they were a completely different color, more of a platinum blonde. His solution was to bleach the hair. I thought it would be a Courtesy on his part since he ordered the wrong hair color. Instead he added it on to my bill at the end. My final result was horrible. The hair was extremely thin even though they kept adding extra hair. I can see the beads and the blonde was a orange type color. I then called to get them removed and I was told its an additional $150 to remove the hair. They should have removed the hair for free for the inconvenience and me being a very unsatisfied customer. I already paid $650 for over colored, thin hair. Alex is always overbooked, when I got to the salon to remove my hair extensions. I have been a client of A.H. Magic Salon in Pelham, NY for over 10 years. Love Alex and his staff, I recently had a Pro Addiction, which is actually my second, process done to my hair and could not be happier. Love this hair salon. Mimi is the best. I went inside looking for something new and Mimi knew exactly what I was thinking about. She gave me some highlights and did the balayage hair color technique. It looks extremely wonderful and I got many compliments. Mimi is so dedicated to her work and she puts all the effort to make your hair marvelous. I give her a lot of credit because my hair is very hard to work with. Apart from Mimi, the whole staff is very friendly and nice. They make you feel welcomed and also a plus is that they have delicious coffee.
