What a SOHO vibe, I love entering the Salon and the energy is engulfing. The stroll down to Studio By K is alive and busting with chatter and life. It’s my favorite to go and get my hair styled! It’s the best experience at Sola!

Anna at strangebird salon in sola salons told me she could dye my hair silver and instead dyed it blond which was her choice. The she gave me a haircut I specifically said I didn't want and did it so poorly that my hair is uneven and choppy and the only way I can get it to be manageable is to glue it down with hairspray. I am an elderly non-confrontational woman and I tried to live with it but I feel like a clown. It took her all day to do what she did and and I went home embarrassed and sad. When I asked her to fix it she said she would, and then I never heard from her again until I asked for a refund. Then she she told me I took advantage of her.

Anna at Sola Salon is great! She constantly checks in with her clients to see if they are still liking the haircut as she’s cutting. She takes her time and tries to make her clients feel at home in her studio. She heard I was doing my wedding hair on my own (i’m not a cosmetologist), and she took the time to walk me through, step by step, how to get the look I want on my wedding day. She gave me the inside scoop of what products to buy and where I could buy them. As long as I live in Syracuse, I’ll be going to Anna!
