I have been going to this shop for years! I go nowhere else for direct hair care. The owner, whom I love dearly, doesn't cheat people, is very caring and skilled in what she does. She offers the best hair care advice. You can't go wrong. Of course there is always shop talk (which I enjoy), seeing other regulars and just enjoying the pampering experience. This place is family.

I came across this location while at work and decided to get more information about the services. I spoke with Gisele explaining that I wanted to put my hair in a protective style but did not want locs. Gisele didn’t seem to understand what I was explaining to her. It actually seemed like because there were other people there she was trying to save face and just blurted out nonsensical things unrelated to what I was talking about. For instance, Gisele said that I have 4C hair; which I don’t but if I did what the heck did that have to do with what I was saying? The real issue, was the attitude behind what she was saying. As if having a kinkier coil was an insulting thing. The fact that she didn’t understand what I was asking her to do isn’t an issue. My main concern which is why I’d never let her touch my hair is that one she didn’t bother trying to understand what I wanted and two she felt saying that I have a more coarse hair texture was insulting.
