The entire process is wonderful - from the moment you schedule an appointment with Jane, being welcomed by everyone when you walk in, color with Ana, cut with Piet, Mika or Vartan, eyebrows with Tatyana. The output is always reliable, but when you're going to commit to 3+ hours in a salon for a cut and color, you want the process and the experience to be great - and it is! 10 years strong at Vartali Salon :)

I struggled for years trying to find a hair salon in NYC that could give me a natural blonde color without totally wrecking my hair... my search was over when I found Vartali!!!! I have been going to Vartali for years now and I cannot say enough amazing things about the salon. Not only did they save my hair but they also welcomed me in as family. Every time I walk in the door, I feel like I am home. My hair has never looked better or been healthier! Ana does my highlights - Michael is also fantastic if you can’t book an appointment with Ana! Tatyana does my eye brows and nails - highly recommend! She is an artist with the brows- I call her my eyebrow whisper! Piet cuts my hair and Bianka and Mika blow dry!! Piet actually understands what a “trim” is. Everyone at Vartali actually listens - Vartan (the owner) wants you to look, feel, and be your best so if he and his staff can provide you with that boost of confidence like a great hair day - they are all in!!!
