Salon Above

I have been going to Salon Above for many years, and it is always a positive experience. My stylist, Dee, is excellent at cutting and coloring hair, and she is friendly and warm without ever being intrusive. The receptionist who takes your appointment over the phone, hands you a smock when you enter, and later rings up the charges and offers you a piece of chocolate, is always welcoming. The woman who washes my hair and scrubs out any color that might have leaked onto my face is also lovely. There is no attitude, no drama, and no snobbery at this salon. I highly, highly recommend it. Salon has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. I see Alex, he is absolutely wonderful, does a great cut and color. The salon is located upstairs above a diner in an older walk-up building.

My name is Caterina and my IPhone says Marcello Garofalo, due to an error. I, Caterina, got a wonderful permanent wave from George at The Salon Above. My hair had been damaged at another salon. George did a beautiful, careful, painstaking job of rolling and timing my perm. He also gave me a beautiful cut which preserved most of my hair’s length. He devoted the afternoon to pampering my tresses. It was a joy! I will never go to any other salon! I give The Salon Above 10 out of 10! The absolute best! Services: Haircut, Hairstyling
