worked here as a receptionist for a few months. nice salon with lovely staff and a great owner - Olga. the manager, Vanity probably gives good haircuts but is one of the nastiest people I have ever encountered, creates a very toxic work environment, and was ultimately the reason I chose to quit. Again, great place otherwise. hope the owner makes the decision to get rid of the nasty manager and perfect her business. UPDATE: went back today to get a haircut, will have to get it redone as “manager” Vanity was totally incompetent. I told her how I wanted it styled and dried, she told me I was wrong, getting increasingly frustrated. So I just left with wet hair, tipping the amazing hair washer, and paying for the bad service. She refused to speak to me or even apologize for her actions when I was employed there. Don’t give your money to a bully, especially one who can’t even do her job right. I had a hair cut and full highlights and it was really nice. I walked out satisfied with the results but the manager their is a such a scammer. I went there with a Groupon and she kept trying to find a way to get more money out of my pocket but luckily i got the chance to read the reviews before going and i see someone had the same experience as mine so i knew she was just trying to get any extra money from me so I didn’t give her the chanceDon’t get me wrong, i’ll pay any amount of money just to feel satisfied with results and have a nice experience. But that manger is just not that smart honestly! You should learn as a manager to gain a customer who will come back because they feel appreciated, not gain temporary money. Customers are not stupid, they are actually smarter than you so learn from your mistakes and from the customer experience if you want to grow.
After an unpleasant experience & result at a salon I had been going to for years, I spontaneously walked into Le Poshe and met Olga at the front desk. I took off my hat and showed her my horrendous dye job and explained what I had envisioned and what I needed done to fix my hair. Olga took PHENOMENAL care of me as she booked me an appointment for the same day. Olga went through inspiration pictures with me that I had been looking at to fix my hair and walked me through the step by step process of what we had planned to make sure we were both on the same page and that the issues I had with my previous hair color(s) would be resolved (i.e. the obvious gap between my roots and blonde hair). The experience exceeded all of my expectations, from the cleanliness of the salon, the massage chairs I almost fell asleep in while my hair was being washed, and the prices are perfect and reasonable. From the color to the blowout, I walked out with a huge smile on my face, feeling like a new woman as
