Oosha's Haircutters

I only went to Oosha out of convenience. I asked for a cut, no layers, and to have my hair thinned out as it is very thick. What I got is layers and Rachel in Friends from the 90s. It is so much shorter in the front that I have to pin it back to keep it from falling in my face even in a ponytail. She absolutely butchered my hair. I can't wear it loose till it grows out. If I do, it has to be pin straight and that's hard to do with thick wavy hair, and I still need to pin that front section. Worst part is that I had to cut it myself to thin out the ends. She did a generic haircut that was easy for her and did not listen to what I wanted. She does not know how to cut thick hair. It'll be months till I can wear my hair down. This is the worst haircut I've ever received! Keep to your go to person, even if it's a hassle to get there. That was my mistake.

Hardest thing for me was when I moved to Long Island for about 4 years because I couldn’t go as often as I would have liked. However, I made it work most of the time and each trip was worth it.

I come here every time to get my haircut by Alex. This place is very clean with great service. Alex always does a wonderful job with cutting my hair. He listens and cuts your hair exactly the way you want it. I finally found someone that I can trust when it comes to cutting my hair.
