Great Clips

I'm being generous with two stars. Been here with multiple people. In the past they've been decent but today we went in. No one was there so we checked in. The lady who checked us in took my friend with long hair right away. He told her he wanted it short, all the long hair gone, cut, short. English was her second language but she didn't understand ANYTHING of these terms and kept asking if he wanted to keep it long after being told no. She said she didn't understand and that he would have to wait for a different stylist. So he was told to go back and sit down. After waiting several minutes two other people were taken back by other stylists despite them both being walk ins who by their admissions didn't check in online and in spite of his name being next on the board. So we just left. Won't be back.

This is the best Great Clips I’ve been to, which really means they have the best staff. I used to only go to expensive salons because more affordable places would often give me a awful haircut, but this place really does a great job. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great looking cut at a super reasonable price!

Was having trouble finding a place to get my hair cut because I have unruly, curly hair and I've had it messed up quite a few times. I went to a nice salon to a "curl specialist" and it was awful. The next day I went to this Great Clips on San Mateo. Elisa fixed it! I was so happy that I keep going back. George cut my hair the time after that and Carol just last week. Have not had a bad haircut at this location. Clean, fast and friendly and not a long wait. Thank you!
