Union City Nail Salon

I went in today to get a UV gel fill in... I decided to just get color gel instead. Tina preceded to drill the previous UV gel off my nails. Once she did the first nail, and I saw how heavly handed she was with the drill, I asked her to please be extremely careful because 1 my nails are thin, and 2 I really don’t want all of those deep lines cut into my nails. Needless to say what happened next. 5 nails with deep lines cut into my nails. When I pointed it out to her, she said it wasn’t her that did it. (Did I drill them into my nails myself?) Ok that’s no big deal right? Just move on... I ignored the rest of my service trying to not make it a big deal and when she finished polishing my nails I realized that all of my nails are different shapes. When I asked her if I could come back when she had time, so she could fix them, she told me no. That’s there is nothing that she could do for me. Keep in mind when I paid I still left a tip trying to not leave on bad terms, but when she told me

Do NOT come here to get your nails done. The non gel colors are insanely cheap and don't last. I got an acrylic set for 35usd DESPITE THE SIGN SAYING THE PRICE IS 30usd. (Apparently if you want an oval shape the price is 5usd more). In addition, their credit machine wasn't working so I had to go to an ATM to pay. Once I got the color I dried them under literal fans- like Walmart 5dollar fans for 20 minutes and the color still came off immediately after. Please go to magic nails or ANY OTHER nail salon and save your money!!!!

The staff is so kind and they are the only people I can trust with my nails. I can last nearly 1-2 months with the products they use on my nails. I am certain that they are an amazing nail salon and treat you with care — as far my personal experience. Their prices are affordable for a new set of acrylics.
