Our Urban Rose Salon

I felt very welcomed and taken care of on my first visit to the salon. Everyone was very nice and you can just tell it is a loving atmosphere. While I was being serviced, an old client stopped by to say hello while in town and things like that mean the world to me. My hair was fabulous in the end and I will be back! I got a "curly cut" at this salon and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The stylist had no idea what she was doing with curly hair, she had zero experience cutting hair like mine (I'm around 3c/4a curl pattern for most of my head) and I had to direct her to stop cutting in certain places, how to enhance my curl pattern, and at NO point did she say she did not have experience with curly cuts. If you have curly hair, I do not recommend this salon at all. Service: Curly hair

Walking into such an inviting space means so much to me when getting my hair done. Urban Rose did not disappoint I was the first client of the day, I was greeted warmly and offered coffee. I came in for tape-in installation which was my first time. Urban Rose specializes in natural hair care which is a huge plus for me. Not only do they talk to you about natural hair care but also assists you with the best methods for your own hair growth and journey. Urban Rose is such a relaxing vibe I would highly recommend if you are in the Jersey City area. I love my hair it’s just the way I wanted it to be!
