Nails By Jenny

Lived in jersey city for about 10 years and wish I found this spot sooner. Got a full acrylic set with gel and only cost $60. In other places its almost double that and not as good work done. Like others mentioned its not glamorous the salon itself but Jenny was amazing. I felt she took her time and she is very clean. I have found my new salon and very happy with it. Just don't come here for a pedicure because doesn't do them.

This place is like the biggest hidden gem in Jersey City and ever since my daughter discovered it we only go to Jenny. Not only do your nails come out looking catalogue ready—#yassqueen—but she’s so unbelievably sweet, professional, and does a better job than any of the larger salons I’ve gone to in area. It’s one thing when you have someone who is great at their craft but it’s even better when she’s a genuinely wonderful person. I don’t get my nails done often so I rely on Google reviews a lot for suggestions and that’s how I found Jenny’s business. After seeing the reviews, I knew I wanted her to do my nails for my upcoming wedding. Well, I definitely didn’t read closely enough because I didn’t realize that she was a one person business! (I decided to read ALL the reviews the week, actually 3 DAYS, before my wedding.) So I called her up to set up an appointment only to find out she isn’t open the day that I wanted to come in and she tried to schedule me for a different day. Unfortunately no other day would’ve worked because of how close the wedding was (mentioned this nonchalantly, not expecting anything because it was definitely my fault for not calling her way in advance).
