Nina's Hair Salon

Its been almost 2 years since I've been here. I was actually so traumatized by my experience that I haven't been to any salon since then. I have natural hair. I've never relaxed my hair because my hair is super fine. I went here to get my hair silk press but a week later when I went to wash my hair, my hair was so straight. I assumed that it was heat damage. After 2 year of growing out my hair I finally decided to do to a salon to have the damage hair cut off. Because of how even the damage was over my entire head, the stylist does not believe it is heat damage. She thinks they did a Keratin treatment on my hair without my knowledge. This treatment normally gives a straighter silk press but I did not want my hair permanently straightened and would have never ever agree to someone using that in my hair. After reading some of the other reviews about them putting relaxer in the shampoo, I am convinced that's what they are doing and I think its deplorable. Services: Shampoo & conditioning,

A friend recommended Nina’s hair salon for my 5 year old daughter. I wanted my little girl’s hair to look extra special for her first day of kindergarten. This was her first time getting a silk press and I am super delighted with the results! Nina is an excellent stylist and made sure that every strand of my daughter’s natural 4B textured hair was pressed perfectly! Services: Shampoo & conditioning, Blowouts, Haircut, Hairstyling
