The Men's Salons - Aksarben

As a Gen-X'er, treating us to self-care is antithetical. We grew up with Boomers who sucked up the economy as they obsessed with their "me generation" indulgences. We were the Spartan minimalists that followed. It's subsequently hard for a true Gen-X'er to go to a place that focuses on caring for you and providing you with a fully aesthetic self-care experience. It's taken me two years to relax and appreciate the care that the Men's Salon provides. Talk about a trust complex! (Gen-X at its best) But this salon has become a place where I go monthly to give in to some self-care routine and appreciate the wonderful people here who just want you to feel better and look good. The owners of this establishment are amazing. They're grounded and are authentic in caring about customers. The stylists are truly fun and amazing people. Hannah did a phenomenal job with my haircut. I came in with around 9 inches of hair and left with a very tidy but stylish haircut (that was very similar to the style I showed to her). Hannah captured the look and fit it very well to my hair/head. She took her time to make sure that it got done right and I am very pleased with the outcome. Plus she was easy to talk to.
