African Heritage Hair Braiding

I'm sure that if the owner had she braided my hair would have been more cognizant of the pain of pulling my hair too tight that I was in. The lady that braided my hair when I told her it was too tight she just proceeded to braid tighter. It was like she couldn't help her self! I have so many negatives about this place. My braids looked nice, but never will I let this other lady touch me again! If you don't let the owner Katy do it please proceed with Tylenol and lots of caution! I won't be going back there. Never have I been in such pain! I'm sorry but you simply can't Patronize everyone. I'll drive to Raleigh next time!

In town for one day..Walked in and asked Katie could she cut my braids down.She told me to come back at two and I did.She was there waiting on me..I live in Williamsburg VA and I will be coming back to Wilmington to get my hair done ..All that matters is her work n the way she does hair..If you don't want to listen to her conversation,put some ear plugs in..Thanks Katie for cutting my braids shorter.. Exactly what I was looking for.

I must have caught them on a bad day..... My overall experience here wasn’t the best. I called late in the day and they weren’t busy so I got an appointment. I was late, but she was 30 minutes late. Then when I told her not to braid my edges to tight, she got upset and passed me on to another braider! There was originally 3 ladies in there and only one finished it. The First Lady was doing fine, I was just caution about my hair line because it’s already fragile ! Then there was roaches ! I was so disgusted and ready to leave but I already paid because they all were ready to leave, hints why I hate paying in advance ! She stayed in the shop until 2:00am finishing my hair and I was grateful but for $200 I didn’t even get the length I wanted ! She kept saying it’ll be $180 then she kept shortening the length so I ended up paying the $200 for my desired length and it’s still to short! I just will never go back there !
