Alexander Paul Institute of Hair Design

This was my 2nd visit for getting my natural hair flat ironed & trimmed & I love my results!! It's affordable, all the students & their instructors are very nice & helpful. They support & guide the students when they have questions. I like the idea they give students real life experiences by providing cosmetolgy & esthetic services to the public to prepare them for a career in these areas.

Update: I was contacted by the manager of the Institute, not for an apology or compensation but to inform me of my service. I was told that students are made to leave by 5:30 by law, whether the hair is completed or not and that is why I asked to return the next day. I was told that he saw me get my haircut and it was not rushed and those of us with thicker hair should expect it to take longer or see a professional. I was also reminded multiple times that these are students. My response I am posting on Google rather than call him back so that other customers are aware. 1. I emailed the NC Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners and was told that they do not regulate when students leave, as I was told. Therefore, my hair should have been finished, I should not have been asked to return the next day. 2. I was in Greenville for an event and a friend buzzed a chunk out of my hair. Virtually no place could get me in, but when I explained my situation to the school they made me an appointment. My haircut was done by students and an instructor watching, but they clearly knew what they were doing, service and the cut were awesome. Honestly, probably the best haircut I've ever had, and wasn't nearly what I thought I'd pay going to a salon. I really appreciate them for bailing me out and they did a great job.
