Shine! Beauty Studio is a clean, neat and bright establishment. I get nothing but positive vibes and warm welcomes when I enter the door. Bailey is always my go to when I want to try something new and she always educates me on what I should do to keep my natural hair healthy. 1. I paid for a consultation just to be told at the end that the stylist (also the owner) was no longer accepting clients. That should have been communicated to me in the beginning and I would've saved myself time and $25. 2. I booked feed-in braids with a trim with that same stylist's apprentice. I let her know I just wanted cornrows not feed-ins but could not find that option on her site. After my hair was already blow dried, I was informed that there was no one available to trim my hair and the apprentice was unable to. This was annoying because the whole reason I booked the style was to get a trim and if no one was going to be available to do it on the day of my appt it should have been communicated to me beforehand and the option to add the trim should not have been available! 3. I was not pleased with the end result of my style because some of the braids were crooked and not uniform with the others.
