Illuminate Salon

Since moving to Charlotte I've never found "my person" to do my hair. My best friend finally convinced me to give Illuminate a call and book with Rob and i'm so glad I did! He listened to everything I said and helped me make sense of what it was I wanted but was also incredibly realistic. If you find someone to do your hair who says they can make a drastic change in one session for cheap, then you're going to get what you pay for. Rob educated me on the best path to follow to get my hair where I want it as far as looks, but more importantly, how to do it and maintain the hair's integrity and health. After a horrifying experience at a local cosmetology school, I took a few months to let my hair recover a bit and Rob is helping me get back to beautiful hair! I could't recommend more! (p.s. the salon itself is gorgeous!).

Best stylist in Charlotte! Rob Murphy is nothing short of amazing, he has cut my hair for 20 years and I am always wowed. I constantly have people stop me to ask who cuts my hair. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment, you won't be disappointed.
