House of Heavilin is my go to place to get my hair done. I am absolutely in love with my hair! I just got a Balayage done, one of the best shampoos I have ever received, and a haircut. My student Jackie was amazing! She was professional, personable, and went above and beyond for me! Also, you cannot beat the price!!
I have really enjoyed getting to know the instructors and students at HOH. This has been a good place for me to learn and get started in the cosmetology industry!
It's more like a house of horror. I paid for a kit more than 3 weeks in advance with the promise to get it the first week of school, which didn't arrive until the third week then the wanted us to work on the floor. I had my own kit and nothing other than book work, and basic manni and pedis were taught. Moreover, the reading was done out loud, and we never finished a chapter while in class. The instructor came across a word she couldn't pronounce and was offended when I said google it for the pronunciation. During the orientation, the Friday before school started, they went over campus security and student handbooks. Then again, the first day of class. Both times, they emphasize drug use, theft, and fighting. Instead of other policies like no sitting in your car unless off the clock and you have to clock out for 15 minutes per day or get docked.
