Berenice salon spa AVEDA

I went in for a trim and I let the “stylist” know that I’ve been trying to grow my hair out. I told her I used to get layers years ago, but it made my hair look super thin, so I’d like a more blunt cut. She asked if we could add some long layers and I told her sure, but just a few and I’d want only about an inch off. Seems all good, right? Wrong. Once she got going she immediately starting cutting layers. Deep layers. We’re talking at minimum 6 inches of hair on the floor. She never checked to see if my left and right sides were matching or same lengths. Never set a baseline for the trim. It looks like a mullet… now let me clarify, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with mullets, but it’s definitely NOT what I asked for. The bottom layer of hair has multiple strands that are longer than others and it looks more like a “v” cut not a blunt cut with long layers. Just went to Berenices new salon! I looked and felt amazing when I walked out! I had my highlights done, a great haircut, and loved the way she did my eyebrows. I really couldn't have been happier. Berenice has a great personality and style, and you can tell she loves what she does and is great at it! I hope others will have the same experience I did. Can't wait to go back! Stopped in to get quick style to my hair. Berenice took me back and in 15 mins I was all done...amazing shampoo bowls you lay down and she stands behind you what a treat! Berenice is the best colorist and stylist she is amazing! Now she has 3 wax and spa rooms ( I believe) the place is so airy and clean and plenty room to grow oh I about forgot... Esme, (Berenices daughter) has the nail salon so one stop shop..nails are fantastic. Esme does my nails and she is the best around! Amazing salon I just love them!
