The Uptown Hair District

I am sad to have to give this a one star but I had a terrible experience with the stylist I had named Todd. Part of it was my fault as I called Saturday morning for a same day appointment. Todd was able to get me in that day. It is the worst hair cut and overall stylist experience I have ever had. I have medium length, fine texture hair and it was a very hack hair cut. It is choppy, uneven, and looks like I took a kitchen scissors to my own head. He did not listen to what I was looking for, nor did he know how to dry or style it. He may be good at other services, but I do not recommend getting a haircut from him. He stated when it was all said and done that i could texture it myself if I wanted it different. I’m very disappointed and will not be going back. I can’t review without this effecting other stylists, I apologize for that. I will not be returning or ever recommending him as a stylist. I can highly recommend Leah Greer, she always gives me a terrific cut and style, and knows just what to do to make me look put-together and contemporary. The salon is very clean, bustling but not noisy or chaotic, and has convenient underground parking.

Don LaCourse is marvelous! He has the magic touch with cutting and styling my hair. I am always very happy with the results.
