Susan Hair Braiding Salon

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had a scheduled appointment which I was on time for and it still took them 30-45 minutes to start my hair . I showed them a picture of my hair and I was told that they were able to do the style and it came out looking nothing like what I wanted. They have their kids there 24/7. They will stop to take breaks to eat and not even wash their hands when they return. They did my faux locs and burned my real hair when they burned the weave and when I called to tell them they burned my hair they argued with me and was very very rude. They have little 10 year olds braiding peoples hair and all just all around a horrible shop. Also they tried making me pay extra for them to wash my hair and when she did she used DOLLAR STORE BODY WASH.

Braids look overall ok. I asked them not not to braid my edges, but yet there were 3 bothersome braids in front of my hairline that I just had to take out and braid into another. Way too much braiding hair was used on that little piece of my hair. When the lady was braiding, she was very loud on the phone, and kept pulling her mask down to yell louder and did a lot of hand movements while talking—she was supposed to braiding with those hands. The other braider started an hour after her and still finished before her. They also did not start on time, very frustrating.

I waited hours for an appointment for my daughter. When I arrived I was told her hair was too short & the price would be almost double , they were very busy even though I had appointment, I believe they were too busy for my appointment. So they increased price. By making an excuse my daughter is 3 & has had her hair braided at least 10 times in last two years. Never told it's to short by anyone. Very unprofessional!!!!
