I’ve been searching high and low for a curly salon with licensed cosmetologists, and thought I found the one, but the search continues. I wanted to finally see if a pro could get my curls to pop but even for her I guess it was too much. First of all, I will say all the silk presses and color that I saw on the clients was super cute. And the ambience and wine offerings were nice, but my service was terrible. I booked for a simple wash and go. Now, most curlies know if you want your curls to pop you must style on wet hair. My hair was dry by the time styling product hit it and I don’t think any water was used to re-moisturize. A little bit of mousse was combed through my dry strands, in what felt like a rushed manner. When asked about the parting I should’ve known it wasn’t going to turn out how I wanted. I thought it would lay, while the stylist told me it’s going to be sticking up. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience here. My daughter and I got a curly cut and wash and go. The trim was really good, but the hairstyle was not ideal for us. When I asked the stylist to rectify the issue by just curling it for us, she said that she did not have time. I left the shop very unsatisfied and felt that I wasted $350 at the salon. After much anticipation to utilize the shop’s services, I don’t think I’ll be frequenting this establishment again.
